Wabasha Streetfront Retail Area of Downtown Saint Paul
Traffic volumes have been documented in the Wabasha Area since 1996 when the city began its investment in the area's commercial development and public space. Impacts of the new Wabasha Bridge were explored in 1999. The impacts of new sidewalk paving may be examined in the future. Saint Paul Public Works Department initial funding of the pedestrian counts leveraged contributions from leasing agents and major corporations located in the streetfront retail area.
