Walking Distance Survey of Commuters Using Public Ramps
A study of walking distances between work and parking place was conducted over the winter of 1998-99 for Minneapolis Public Works. Average walking distances were computed for each of the downtown ramps. Considerably longer walking distances were documented for commuters (walking in the comfort of relatively long skyways) in the Target Center/TAD Ramps area. Study not finished, report not yet released by Public Works.
